One of the grueling things I do in order to keep XBMC-TV updated is to manually check out the various international streams I have on file. Sometimes, along the way, I’ll come across some peculiar (and at times familiar or even humorous) sights or scenes, as you’ll see below:

The Underwear Gnomes have nothing on these folks (from what was presumably a sex-ed lesson on Korean TV Station ‘EBS’):

Ok, here’s some context. Sort of. More screens from the same show (may be NSFW for some, but this is supposed to be educational, right?): (1, 2)

Chinese Television showing ‘Short Circuit’:

Note: Speaking of American releases running internationally, a station called TRI Public TV in Indonesia happens to play reruns of Airwolf quite often. (There’s your obscure trivia for the day.) If I happen to catch it again, I really should record a clip of just how bad the dubbing was. Atrocious would be, well, an understatement.

George Clooney peddling Nespresso to mesmerized French women:

A Nepalese Tractor Commercial:

I’m not even sure what the hell’s going on here:

No, seriously, what the hell is that?

Depending whether or not I continue to find such gems during my regular tests, I might just have to make this a regular thing—and the U.S. stations I check aren’t exempt, either. So far, nothing beats those detail-oriented sex-crazed gnomes.
